NIMSpro : Using the Player panel

Using the NIMSpro™ Player Panel

The NIMSpro™ Player panel was designed to be extremely easy to use.

1. Open the broswer Open browser to the designated URL (e.g. http://www.nimspro.org) ending in player.php
2. Select the exercise Select the exercise to join by clicking on the exercise name in the "Select Sim" list and clicking the [Choose Sim] button
3. Select the unit Select the unit by clicking on the deisred unit name in the "Select Unit" list and clicking the [Choose Unit] button
4. Initial dispatch waiting area loads The initial dispatch waiting area visual will load
5. Move around the scene as desired When an instructor places you on the scene, move as desired by clicking the available movement buttons on the Move bar at the bottom of the screen (e.g. "L" to move Left, "R" to move Right, etc.). NOTE only movement directions currently availble from the Player's specific location are enabled; grayed-out movement directions are not available for that location but may become available at other locations.
