Summary

This simulation features a 2-story, open balcony motel with 7 rooms per floor per side (28 total). With fires downstairs and upstairs capable of extending to the roof void space, this simulation covers complex operations in large buildings with significant life hazard. This simulation provides the opportunity to train on multi-unit search, building and exposure NIMS nomenclature, 3-dimensional spread of fire, evacuation, etc. By varying the starting point of the fire, speed of progression, the number and location of victims, firefighters each time encounter something a little different requiring an adjustment in the tactical plan and assignment of resources.
